The Scandinavian School of Jersey City was founded by Maria Germerud-Sharp, a native of Sweden with a Master’s degree in Education.  After welcoming their first born, Emilia, in 2008, Maria and her husband starting looking into preschool options, but had trouble finding a school that covered all areas of concern
