The staff and I are very pleased to welcome you to School No.2's website. We are continuously busy, planning challenging and motivating educational programs for our students. School No. 2 is a highly academic school. Our program of learning is in direct correlation with the NJ CORE CURRICULUM CONTENT STANDARDS.

As the principal of School No. 2, I will continue to implement an educational program that is vigorous and challenging to our students. The expectation of high academic achievement will not be compromised under any circumstances. The commitment from staff, home, and community enables us to meet our students' needs.

School No. 2 is a neighborhood Pre-K through 5th Grade school which recognizes that children learn through many experiences. As a neighborhood school in the Linden School District, School No. 2 taps on its many community resources to enrich the Core Curriculum promoting student learning and citizenship.

Our students participate in a number of celebrations and programs thoughout the school year. These programs include "Read Across America" on Dr. Seuss' birthday, Character Education program, K-Kids and Junior Achievement sponsored by local industries.
