In collaboration with our partners, Somerset Community Action Program will increase the self-sufficiency of low-moderate income individuals and families in the Somerset County Community by empowering them through education, employment training, cultural enrichment, case management, and life skills development programs.

SCAP focuses its’ efforts on assisting families reach their full potential by providing them with supportive services designed to assist them with reaching a healthy level of self-reliance. In addition to being a licensed child care center, SCAP is also Somerset County’s designated Community Action Program and is funded to provide anti-poverty activities driven by a community assessment of needs.
