The Agape Academy goal is ministry oriented. Our vision is to help the children in our community to have a healthy start in life. The management and staff believe in Excellence. We will be training our children to be of substantial character based on God’s word. We are planning to base our training on the standards of the National Association of Education for Young Children (NAEYC). This will ensure that they are developing according to the states accredited early childhood program. In addition, they will be learning the basic Spanish, and Sign English vocabulary. We will constantly reach out to our community by helping to serve in ways that will benefit the society.
Spiritually, children are exposed to biblical characters on a daily basis that will help them to develop positive attitudes in order to help make society a better place. This will help them be victorious not only now, but for eternity. Cognitively, the children will be mentally developed so that they have strong academic foundation to build on. They will be critical thinkers as they maximize their potential, and be independent individuals; who are able to positively contribute to society. Physically the children will be encouraged to embrace nature by engaging them in outdoor activities that utilizes their motor skills in order to develop them. This will foster good health. The Social aspect will engage children in dramatizing different roles, such as mother, firemen, doctor, and store owners it will foster their problem solving, and language skills. They will also learn to be more accepting of these diverse community and embrace each other’s uniqueness. The ultimate goal is to produce children who live an exemplary life-style. Based on such vision, the mission statement is all about maximizing each child’s unique ability.
